Typical Me

Typical me, I start something and then walk away for a while. Like the photos from 2005 that are on my dining room floor since I so energetically started putting them into an album the week after my mom left in January. Well, I'm back and it's probably better to post things on a weekly basis. It will make my life seem oh so busy and productive.

Spring has finally sprung. The daffoldis have come and gone and the cherry blossoms are falling like snow and I have piles of debris that I've weeded/hacked/racked up all over waiting for the "Bag Fairy" to come along and bag it all up and bring it to the curb. The Bag Fairy has not come yet. But it all still looks much tidier than before and it was fun uncovering our patio and all the great landscaping around it. Our friends the previous owners did a great job back there and it'll be a pleasure to sit and sip pina coladas and watch the war games during the upcoming summer months.

We're off to Jim's mother's to celebrate her anniversary and also have a meeting to go for Joseph's Atrium. It's a parent/child meeting so Joseph will get to show us what it is he does during those two hours!

Last night I had a girls nite to celebrate my sis in law, Mary's, birthday and it was great fun, as usual, to get together with all my Storey Sisters and catch up on everyones lives.

Peter had a great day today while Joseph was at Atrium--now that the weather is beautiful, we sat outside for almost two hours. During that time, he came over for a sip of water twice, but otherwise was happily playing in the dirt and other serious work, while I got to read my next book club book The House of Arden, by E. Nesbit. As usual, I'm behind the eight ball, but it looks good that I'll finish by tomorrow night.

In other news, Mark rolled over from front to back on April 6 and I have pictures to prove it. I'll post them soon. (Of course, I could have staged the pics, but I didn't!)
